Venue Comments :

Opened as the Wondergraph in 1920. In September 1920 the theatre was acquired by Dan Clifford The freehold was tranferred to Clifford 1921, then to D Clifford Theatres Ltd in November 1923. The theatre became known as the Star in 1930. Refurbished in 1952 and named the Odeon. Flint (1977) briefly references the Semaphore Odeon closing 13 November 1976.
